Wilton Connecticut
Wilton CT — the place where “families are fulfilled and lives are enriched”.
Wilton Connecticut, like many other towns and small cities in Fairfield County, is a high-earning community with many private and public spaces available for recreational use. The town specifically lauds its many natural attractions such as Ambler Farm and the Norwalk River Valley Trail.
Wilton is a family town and keeps its title as such by providing a great school public education. However, if public school is not what you desire for your children, Wilton also has an array of private schools for younger children and is surrounded by towns and other counties that are full of the best private and boarding schools for older kids.
On the weekends in Wilton, the family oriented atmosphere is even more noticeable. Fathers and mothers can be seen coaching or sitting on the side lines of their son’s and daughter’s soccer games. Baseball diamonds are packed full with the towns little leaguers.
And during the weekdays, sadly, parents have to go to work to support their little ones and when they do it is usually to one of three close by cities: New York City, Stamford or Norwalk. By taking I-95 or the Merrit Parkway, NYC is extremely accessible at only an hour’s drive away. And even better, Wilton has two train stations, which offer free parking that will take you or your family to NYC for a day of work or for a day-trip to explore the Big Apple.
Within and around Wilton there are also an array of private and public beaches, equestrian barns and golf clubs to spend your summertime at. For sure there is no shortage of activities in Wilton to keep a family occupied during these warm summer months!
